Dear E: Weather is too hot to write. In a hurry so am just sending this to assure you that I am still alive. Will write soon.
We are busy at the harvest: have not cut any wheat yet. Am starting tomorrow. Chas.Gill is very sick with appendicitis. Melvin has gone out to take off the harvest.
